In a new court filing, federal prosecutors for the first time portray the former Marine, Michael David Meeks, 40, as a key figure in the Michigan-based Hutaree's alleged conspiracy to trigger an "uprising" against the U.S. government by plotting to "assassinate" law-enforcement officers with improvised explosive devices. It's one thing to have a pack of clueless yaboos running around in camos thinking they look tough, it's another thing when former members of our own Military are guiding and training these guys to attack and murder their fellow Americans.
