Dear Sir , I am assuming that you are male and I apologize because I am sure that there are females that feel the same as you. I am not going to tell you that you do not have the right to say the things that you are because that is your right and no one has the right to take that from you. However, I do feel that the law enforcement job is difficult enough in this day and age without the encouragement that you are providing through this page. You have the right to complain about the wrongful treatment of people by law enforcement but it is wrong to offer a monetary value for another human beings life. I would never offer such a thing for your life or anyone else reguardless of race, color or creed. Just like you and the other people behind this page you have families and so do these officers that you offer a reward on. I myself have always been a fair officer when it comes to my job and the people that I have contact with through this job because everyone is innocent until prove guilty in a court. I as an officer on the streets am not "judge, jury and executioner". I am sorry that you or someone you know has had bad dealings with the police but is it right to then take it upon yourself to kill us all because of it? I am willing to put my life on the line for anyone in this county in the pursuit of justice, and an not afraid to die if that is God's will (not yours). I myself have already been shot at, faught with and bitten but that is part of the job that I have choosen.
All I want is for people to realize that we are not all bad cops and if you could just cooperate with us on a scene then it would save everyone any hassles and no one would be arrested "illegally" as you say. Is that so much to ask of everyone? I am sorry if this letter offends you and the others that read your page and if you feel that you have to go ahead and put a bounty on my head , because as I said before I will gladly put my life out there for others. I work for the Tuscaloosa Police Dept. in Alabama if that helps you and in closing I will include my name and badge number so that you know how and where to find me. I work the evening shift hours(2-10) and am a white female officer, age 25. Good luck in your endeavors and thank you for listening. Officer Amanda M. Ferry Badge # 151
